Shropshire Garden

This project started with helping the clients to redesign their patio area after the installation of a new garden room at their gatehouse property in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. Balancing the characteristics of an old property with the modern aesthetics enjoyed by the client was an exciting challenge and required planting with a vibrant and modern feel that would also blend into the more traditional garden and countryside beyond. Following the completion of the patio the project has progressed to updating the existing garden boarders beyond the patio, introducing a complimentary mixture of grasses and perennials with the existing shrubs and trees. This helps create a modern ‘prairie style’ feel that also connects with the fields and countryside surrounding the garden. Although still in its infancy the initial planting already looks great and I am excited to see how it develops over the coming years.
